Después de haber realizado dos presentaciones en este 3º tramo de la gira en la ciudad de Boston allá por octubre, la banda irlandesa volvió a presentarse en esta ciudad, con una gran sorpresa.
Bono cantó durante "Beautiful Day" fragmentos de "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" y de "Here Comes the Sun" cambiando las letras para reflejar el frío y la nevada del exterior. También agradeció a la actriz Ashley Judd, quien estaba presente en el show, por su trabajo en la ONE CAMPAIGN. Durante One, se subieron al escenario una docena de fans con banderas de diferentes nacionalidades ubicándose detrás de Larry y agitándolas juntas.
Luego de haber tocado un setlist "standard", U2 cerró el show con "Bad", bueno al menos eso pareció. Tan pronto había dejado el escenario regresaron a este para tocar "All Because Of You" y "Fast Cars".
"Fast Cars" es así la sexta canción en finalizar un show del Vertigo Tour.
