PIRATAS DEL CARIBE
Ya tiene fecha el lanzamiento del disco “Rogue´s Gallery: Pirate Ballads, Sea Song & Chanteys”, el 22 de agosto, que cuenta con la colaboración de Bono:
Bono, Sting, Lou Reed y Nick Cave solo son una pequeña muestra de los artistas que participan en este disco llamado “Rogue´s Gallery: Pirate Ballads, Sea Song & Chanteys”. Un disco doble, con 43 canciones, producido por Hal Willner, que ha desarrollado una idea del director Gore Verbinski y el actor Johnny Depp que surgió mientras rodaban la película “Piratas del Caribe. El cobre del hombre muerto”.
“Siempre me sentí fascinado por la idea de reinterpretar los cantos de marineros contemporáneamente” dice Verbinski. “Imaginé los artistas respetando y escuchando esta vieja música: Las canciones del mar.”
