        La Rolling Stone dio a conocer el resultado final de las elecciones de las mejores 100 canciones y los mejores 100 discos de la década, y los U2 no podían estar ausentes.

        En el rubro canción U2 se anotó con "Beautiful Day" en el puesto 9, con "Moment Of Surrender" en el puesto 36 y con "Vertigo" en el puesto 64. En lo que a discos se refiere, fueron elegidos los tres discos que U2 editó en esta década, "All That You Can't Leave Behind" en el puesto 13, "No Line On The Horizon" en el 36, y finalmente, "How To Dismantle And Atomic Bomb" en el 68.
