En el octavo y último show del Vertigo Tour en New York, U2 no solo volvió a tocar el cover de "Instant Karma" acompañados, nuevamente, por Patti Smith, sino que decició cerrar el show con esta canción, convirtiéndola en el quinto cierre de show en lo que va del tour. Lo interesante es que los conciertos en New York han tenido todos los cierres de la gira ("40", "Bad", "Instant Karma", "Vertigo", y "With Or Without You").
Como anoche fue el 8º aniversario del fallecimiento del cantante de INXS, Michael Hutchence, "Stuck In A Moment You Can't Get Out Of" fue dedicada a su memoria.
Además, después de faltar en cuatro conciertos consecutivos, "The Electric Co." retornó al setlist.
